MLAs condole Abhishek's family but express solidarity with Palike

 
Malleswaram MLA C N Ashwath Narayan, Jayanagar MLA B N Vijayakumar, Dasarahalli MLA S Muniraju, Basavanagudi MLA L N Ravisubramanya and BTM Layout MLA Ramalinga Reddy said in a release that BBMP is undertaking a lot of development and infrastructure works in the City and some negative issues, like the Abhishek incident, have been blown out of proportions in the media and this is an obstruction to the development works in the City. 

Instead of suggesting the Palike about precautionary measures, there are more protests and negative statements published in the media against the Palike officers.

BBMP must take action to prevent such incidents in future and usage of red tape and board mentioning "Work in progress" has to be used wherever work related to drain is being carried out. The MLAs have extended their support and condolences to Abhishek's family.
