<p class="bodytext">Parishodhana 2025, a national conference on composers and choreographers, will be held March 21 and 22. It is hosted by the Department of Performing Arts and Cultural Studies of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The conference will bring together academics, researchers, and artists who will talk about Indian music and dance from the 19th and the 20th centuries.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The conference will feature discussions on subjects like less-known composers, gender representation in music, regional compositional influences, and Indian music’s thematic compositions. Sessions will also cover the contributions of pioneering choreographers, choreography in cinemas and commissioned works, and the influence of technology on choreography.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The panels will also examine genres such as gamaka, folk, film, mellisai, gurubani, tappa, sugama sangıta and operas, apart from the contribution and influence of musicians from royal courts and how they shaped Indian music.</p>.<p class="bodytext">March 21 and 22.
