<p>Bengaluru: <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/bjp">BJP</a> MLA Byrathi Basavaraj on Wednesday was questioned for the second time in connection with the recent murder of a rowdy-sheeter in east Bengaluru. </p>.<p>Basavaraj appeared before Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Prakash Rathod, the investigating officer in the case, at the Bharathinagar police station at noon. </p>.<p>Speaking to reporters, the BJP MLA yet again reiterated that he had nothing to do with the murder. </p>.<p>"I was asked several questions and I have replied to them. I have been served a notice to appear before the police whenever called. They haven’t given a date. I have cooperated with them and will cooperate in the future as well,” he added. </p>.<p>Shivakumar alias Biklu Shiva (40) was brutally attacked and killed near his residence in Meanee Avenue Road in Bharathinagar in east Bengaluru on the night of July 15. A total of 11 suspects have been arrested by the police, including the five who initially surrendered, claiming responsibility for the crime. </p>.<p>The police have also launched a manhunt for Jagasiah alias Jagga, the prime suspect, who remains at large. Sources suggested that he may have fled the country. </p>
