The situation triggered a fight on the road.</p>.<p>Rumour-mongers, however, spread word that a gang fight had broken out, with armed rowdies attacking each other in full view.</p>.<p>Taking the claims seriously, senior officers from the RT Nagar police station visited the scene and opened a criminal case. Investigations confirmed that all those involved were schoolboys, no weapons were used, and no rowdies were present.</p>.<p>The police said that legal action would be taken against those involved in the fight.</p>
