School in Bengaluru's KR Puram sealed over Covid-19 outbreak

Adding to the growing concern over new Covid-19 clusters, a government high school in B Narayanapura, KR Puram in Bengaluru has been sealed down after about seven students and a teacher tested positive for Covid-19.

Sources in the department of public instructions confirmed the development to DH and said that all the students belong to Class 10 and were attending offline classes.

"Now the entire school has been sealed down and precautions are being taken," the source said.

As per the latest data, the city has seven clusters spread across Yelahanka, Kaval Byrasandra, Bilekahalli and Bellandur with cases ranging from 6 to 108.
