<p>Bengaluru: A 48-year-old man died after a snapped tree branch crashed on his head while he was riding a scooter in Koramangala 1st Block in southeastern Bengaluru on Wednesday, the police said. </p>.<p>Moodala Giriyappa, a resident of Adugodi, was riding pillion on his friend Ramesh's scooter when the incident occurred around 2.30 pm.</p>.<p>Giriyappa, an electrician, was headed to work at the time. He was taken to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. </p>.<p>According to the police, strong winds caused the tree branch to snap near Printo Junction on 60 Feet Road, resulting in the fatal accident. </p>
