As always, it brings together a galaxy of well-known musicians.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Now in its 87th edition, the Sree Ramanavami Global Music festival is regarded as one of India’s most iconic music festivals, and promises a rich feast of classical music. It lasts nearly a month, with the main concerts beginning at 6.30 pm. The festival concludes on May 2.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Malladi Brothers, Mysore Vijay Surya and Sandeep Narayan perform on the inaugural day, a Sunday, when the celebrations begin at 8.30 am.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Mandolin U Rajesh and Jayateerth Mevundi (Hindustani vocal) perform together on April 7. The line-up includes S Aishwarya and S Saundarya, M S Subbulakshmi’s great grandchildren (April 8), Kumaresh R and Jayanthi Kumaresh (April 10), Ranjani and Gayatri (April 13), Sudha Raghunathan (April 14), Shivasri Skandaprasad (April 16), Praveen and Shadaj Godkhindi (April 17), Vishwamohan Bhatt and Mysore Manjunath (April 19), Spoorthy Rao (April 21).
