TOT encourages people to have more conversations

Ever looked for a place where you can relax and have good food at the same time? Oh! and not to forget, at a reasonable price. Well, then it’s your neighbourhood cafe, ‘TOT - Talk Over Table’, that is perhaps the answer.

Located on the busy streets of Jeevan Bhima Nagar, this cafe defines a casual hangout spot. With seatings available both indoors and outdoors, the idea behind this place is to encourage people to spend more time talking to each other rather than spending time on their phones during a meetup.

As you step in, find yourself a comfortable place. It would be preferable to sit inside as there is no fan in the outdoor seating to beat the Bengaluru heat. For starters, you can ask for a plate of ‘Cheese Chilly Toast’ and ‘Garlic Masala Bread’. The generously spread cheese will instantly make you hungry and the garlic bread is a must try, just for its unique taste.

Ask for a TOT special cold coffee to go along with your quick bites. The perfectly brewed coffee is creamy and not so sweet. If you are a black coffee person, you can also try out the Americano. The strong flavour is great after a tiring day.

While you enjoy your starters, ask for a plate of ‘Alfredo Chicken Pasta’ and a Club Sandwich’. The service is a little slow, so it’s recommended to order the mains with the starters. Don’t fill yourself up with the appetisers, if you want to try out the other items from the menu.

The pasta is quite filling and just perfect for one person. The club sandwich served with crispy French fries can be quite heavy on your stomach but the good food does nothing bad you see!

Some of the other must-haves from their menu are the ‘Cajun Chicken Pizza’, ‘Peri Peri Chicken Pizzas’ and the ‘Blueberry Pan Cakes’.

“Everyone wants to experience something beyond coffee. So we provide them different kinds of cuisines. Be it Chinese, Italian or Indian, one can choose their dish according to their mood,” says Srividya, owner.
