<p>With Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi set to arrive in Bengaluru on Friday (August 8) to address the “vote theft” rally at Freedom Park, the Bengaluru City Traffic have issued a travel advisory, imposing restrictions on MG Road, Cubbon Road and Old Airport Road.</p><p>Traffic restrictions have been imposed in Chalukya Road, Shantala Junction and adjacent areas.</p><p>Parking restrictions have also been put in place in many areas of the city.</p>.<p>Rahul, along with AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge will address the party's rally against the alleged votes theft at Freedom Park on Friday. </p><p>The Congress had initially planned this protest on Tuesday (August 5), but it was postponed following the death of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Shibu Soren.</p><p>Noting that Freedom Park is a historical place and at such a place this protest is being held, abiding by court orders (against holding large scale protest in the city), Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said state party legislators, defeated (MLA) candidates and ministers will participate in this.</p><p>"From every assembly constituency, other than Bengaluru surrounding, a minimum of at least 50 party leaders should participate.
