<p>Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree on Thursday urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to provide aid to film director A T Raghu, who is suffering from kidney failure, from the chief minister’s relief fund. <br /><br />Umashree wrote to the chief minister after reading reports about Raghu’s health on Thursday. “A director who has contributed to Kannada films since the 1980s is being treated in a private hospital. I request you to help Raghu, who has won hearts of people with more than 30 films,” the minister wrote.<br /></p>
