Woman dies after compound wall collapses on her in Bengaluru following heavy rains

Bengaluru: A woman has died after a compound wall collapsed on her in east Bengaluru following heavy rains in the area, officials said.

The incident occurred on Monday at around 7 am, when Shashikala, 35, arrived at a private company in the Mahadevapura area for housekeeping work.

As per preliminary information, the weakened wall collapsed on the woman who is originally from Yadgir, when she was sweeping leading to her instant death.

Mahadevapura police visited the spot and a case has been registered. Further probe is on.
