<p class="bodytext">The women’s empowerment wing of Gubbivani Trust is organising a women’s film festival this weekend at Bangalore International Centre. Nine films will be screened at the event called ‘Avala Hejje Women’s Kannada Short Film Festival’. According to a note, these films will throw light on the intimate, political, and ordinary lives of women, navigating memory, identity, and place.
