BJP lodges complaint against Ramya

The BJP leaders of Mandya on Wednesday lodged a complaint against AICC social media head Ramya with cyber crime police, Bengaluru, for directing the Congress workers to create fake facebook and twitter accounts.

C T Manjunath, Hosahalli Shivu and Madaraja Urs, who have lodged the online complaint, charged that Ramya, during a workshop for Congress workers in Bengaluru recently, has told the workers to create three fake Facebook accounts each and target the opposition parties.

"Ramya, a former MP, who is in a responsible post in the AICC should not have given such irresponsible directions to the party workers," they said.

"All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi's tweets have been retweeted by several fake twitter accounts. Ramya has issued directions to create fake accounts in a similar manner to her party men, which is unethical," they said.

"Ramya herself has more than 50 Facebook accounts. The cyber police should verify her accounts and take action under Information Technology Act. Besides, all Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google Plus accounts should be linked with Aadhaar to prevent the creation of fake accounts," they said.
