BSY quits as MLA

Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday submitted his resignation letter as a BJP MLA from Shikaripura Assembly constituency and urged Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa to accept it with effect from May 30.

Yeddyurappa, who recently got elected as BJP member of parliament from Shimoga parliamentary constituency, dispatched his resignation letter to the Speaker. He has requested him to accept the resignation with effect from May 30 so that he can remain MLA till then.
