Congress constitutes campaign committee

The Congress on Thursday announced a jumbo campaign committee to Karnataka for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The committee has a total of 63 members, including senior leader M Mallikarjun Kharge, former CM Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, KPCC working president Eshwar Khandre, senior leaders C S Nadagouda, K C Ramamurthy, Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar, Forest Minister Satish Jarkiholi and Home Minister M B Patil. The party has already appointed former minister H K Patil as the chairman of the committee.
