Cub and Bulbul Utsav kicks off in Udupi

Speaking after inaugurating five-day 33rd State-level Cub and Bulbul Utsav, organised by the State unit of Bharat Scouts and Guides at the Silas International School here, he said Scouts teach discipline to students. The Government will give all the help that the Scouts and Guides want in the State,” he said.

Bharat Scouts and Guides State Commissioner K B Shanmukhappa said that over 800 students, along with their teachers from 25 districts of the State, had come to participate in the utsav, he said.

MLAs Raghupati Bhat, Lalaji R Mendon, Home Minister Dr V S Acharya, Urban Development AUthority Chairman Sudhakar Shetty and others were present.
The children actively took part in walking on ‘monkey bridge,’ climbing the tyres, Tarjan jump and other balancing activities on Monday.
