Don’t issue irresponsible statements, Kumaraswamy tells Priyank

Remarks made by IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge on clearing outstanding bills of KEONICS vendors drew a sharp response from Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who criticised the former’s 'irresponsible' statements.

“Instead of issuing such statements, he must settle pending bills first,” he told reporters here on Wednesday. Kumaraswamy expressed displeasure over Priyank making excuses.

“I have served as chief minister twice. The Congress government has not been able to release the contractors’ letters of credit till date. Instead of blaming previous government, they must clear bills,” the union minister said.
