<p>Davangere: Taking a dig at former chief minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/b-s-yediyurappa">B S Yediyurappa</a>, former minister and BJP leader Aravind Limbavali stated that Yediyurappa, who had left the BJP returned to the party after knocking on the doors of Congress and JDS leaders.</p><p>He was speaking at the 'Nammabhimana' programme organised by the GM Siddeshwara followers in the city on Tuesday as part of the 74th birthday of former Union minister GM Siddeshwara. Addressing the gathering, he said.</p>.Apology doesn't make anyone smaller, arrogance won't make anyone greater: Yediyurappa to Kamal.<p>Recalling the past, he said, "Siddeshwara put honest efforts to make BS Yediyurappa the deputy chief minister and chief minister in the JD(S)-BJP coalition government. I am upset with the way Yediyurappa is treating his friend who was with him, backing him monetarily and also shared the responsibilities," he said.</p><p>Limbavali opined that there is a need to eliminate the people who are creating problems in the party. "For this, we need to increase our strength further. The responsibility of keeping Siddeshwara in the party lies on all of us," he said.</p><p>Former union minister GM Siddeshwara said, "I am a disciplined soldier of the BJP. I met Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar to discuss the issue of the right bank canal of the Bhadra reservoir. I will not leave the BJP and join the Congress. Some people are trying to mislead me."</p>
