Town Panchayat member E C Jeevan passed away following a brief illness. He was 62.
He was admitted to the government hospital in Virajpet where he passed away on late Thursday night.
He had served as the president of the Town Panchayat in the past and was serving as a nominated member in the council of the Town Panchayat.
