An elephant, which was a part of the tiger rescue operation, is missing since the last four days from Antarasante Forest Range under Nagarahole Tiger Reserve in the taluk.

Ashoka is the missing elephant. Ashoka, along with Dasara elephants Abhimanyu and Krishna, was part of the tiger rescue operation. The elephant is missing since it was freed for grazing.

Ashoka was earlier shocked when crackers were burst during the operation last week.
