Five history-sheeters from B'luru held in city

Arakere police on Sunday arrested five history-sheeters from Bengaluru for abducting and hatching a plan to kill another history-sheeter.

The police arrested Manjunath, Avinash, Mahesh, Hemanth Kumar and Hemanth, all history sheeters at different police stations in Bengaluru.

According to the police, the arrested had kidnapped Naveen, a rowdy-sheeter at KPAgrahara Police Station, in Bengaluru.

Naveen is also involved in two murder cases. He was abducted on January 1 from Mandyakoppal in the taluk and kept in a farmhouse at Honaganahalli in Malavalli taluk.

According to the police, the accused revealed during interrogation that they had planned to murder Naveen and dispose the body on NICERoad, in Bengaluru.

The police team led by CVRavindra, Sub-Inspector BVBhavita, nabbed the culprits.
