Last Updated 11 July 2012, 18:32 IST

The vaastu-compliant bungalow - number 2 on Race Course Road, considered the “lucky” abode of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has now been allotted to a man from his enemy camp.

Just before quitting as chief minister, D V Sadananda Gowda allotted the bungalow to Municipal Administration minister Balachandra Jarkiholi. Yeddyurappa had vacated this house recently following the CBI raids.

Gowda also allotted two other bungalows to his loyalists before demitting office. He allotted bungalow number 3 on the same road to Textiles Minister Varthur Prakash, which was earlier occupied by V S Acharya, and a bungalow to Forest Minister C P Yogeeshwara in the seven ministers’ quarters.

This bungalow was previously occupied by Independent MLA B Sriramulu when he was the health minister.
