<p>Tumakuru: Home Minister G Parameshwara has said that instructions have been issued to the concerned authorities to withdraw the FIR filed against seers who participated in the protest Hemavathi link canal project.</p>.<p>Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Parameshwara said that the names of the seers were not mentioned in the FIR. “The seers participated in the protest on the invitation of leaders. The superintendent of police has been told to review the cases booked against them,” the Home Minister said.</p>.<p>However, some people threw stones on buses and damaged vehicles during protest. The police have examined CCTV footage and legal action will be initiated against persons involved in such acts, he said.</p>.Four arrested for cow slaughter in Karnataka's Bidar dist; four calves rescued.<p>Parameshwara, who is also Tumakuru district incharge minister, said that the issue would be discussed again with local legislators and farmer leaders and attempts would be made to convince them.</p>
