Hike in milk price flayed

In protest against the hike in the price of milk, Karnataka Kavalu Pade staged a protest in Kushalanagar recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavalu Pade district President M Krishna said that the hike in the price of milk will cause inconvenience to the poor and make the most essential commodity, out of the reach of most people.

The government should protect the interest of the farmers by announcing support price and not pass on the additional burden of this milk price on to the masses, who are already reeling under the shocks of inflation and hike in prices.
