<p> <br />Singh said that there was a necessity to inquire into the complaint lodged by residents of Aligadda, lawyer K R Desai, Vijaykumar Patil and Saroja Gowda, to Lokayukta alleging that rocks were being blasted in the forest area and manganese ore was being transported.<br /><br />Primary investigation has been conducted and notices will be issued to the officials of Mines and Geology, Harbour Department, Pollution Control Board and the deputy commissioner, he said.<br /><br />He also inspected several houses, which have developed cracks following the blasts by using gelatin sticks.<br /></p>
