<p>Theatre artiste and MP B Jayashree has been chosen for the annual ‘Dr<br />Kota Shivarama Karanth Huttura Prashasti’ for 2012. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The award will be given to Jayashree on the occasion of the birth anniversary of lateKota Shivaram Karanth on October<br />10, at Kota.<br /><br />The award is instituted bynthe Kotathattu Gram Panchayat in Udupi district, in memory<br />of the Jnanpith Award winner late Kota Shivaram Karanth since 2005. <br /><br />As a Director of National School of Drama and Rangayana, she gave new dimension to stage art.</p>
