<p>The dead body of the soldier was flown to his native village at 6.30 am from Bangalore. Before taking the body to B Badga, Deputy Commissioner K H Ashwathnarayana Gowda, Superintendent of Police Manjunath Annigeri, Kodagu Gauda Vidya Sangha President Hosuru Ramesh Joyappa and others offered floral tributes to the soldier. <br /><br />The dead body was kept open for public to offer tribute for some time. Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah, Tahshildar T Rekha, Taluk Panchayat President H S Subhashini, Vice-President Chithra Nanaiah, Gram Panchayat President P D Muthanna among others offered floral tributes to the slain soldier.<br /><br />District Armed Force personnel accorded a guard of honour and then the body was taken for last rites. Kuttana Ravindra was the son of Shankar-Sharada couple of B Badaga village. He had been serving the Madras regiment core for the last 10 years. He was deputed at J&K about 8 months ago from West Bengal.</p>
