Koppa residents celebrate 'go pooja'

 The family members were seen cleaning the cow shed since morning. The cows were also decorated.  A special dish made of rice or wheat, huggi, jaggery, roti, banana were offered to the cow. It is believed that on Vishaka nakshatra, cows get the dream of tiger attacking it. To ward off the fear and instill streangth, the cows are made to cross ‘onake’ in cowshed.
