According to the IMD, south interior Karnataka will also receive light showers for two days. <br /><br />Mysuru district<br /><br />Heavy rains, accompanied by hailstones, lashed parts of the district on Sunday, giving people a respite from the scorching heat. Hunsur town in Mysuru district experienced heavy rains with hailstones for more than one-and-a-half hours on Sunday afternoon. <br />Nagarhole National Park, in Chamarajanagar district, Hunsur town and parts of H D Kote taluk also received heavy rains.<br /><br />With heavy rains in the Nagarhole National Park, Veeranahosahalli division and surrounding villages, small ponds in the forest have filled up. However, Mysuru city, Chikkahalli village and nearby regions in Mysuru taluk saw drizzle in the evening.<br /><br />A person was injured and a bullock killed due to lightning at Chikkanandi village in Hamapapura of H D Kote taluk. The injured is Vishakantha, a resident of the village. He has been admitted to K R Hospital in Mysuru for treatment and is said to be out of danger.</p>
