Light and sound show on Gandhiji enthrals audience

The Department of Information and Publicity conducted a light and sound show at Kaveri Kala Kshetra on Wednesday, as a part of Mahatma Gandhiji's 150th birth anniversary.

The programme depicted the life and achievements of the Father of the Nation. Spectators were spellbound with the wonderful representation and enactment of various stages of Gandhiji's life such as his childhood, his education, his values and his pivotal role in the freedom movement of India.

Inaugurating the programme, CMC president Kaveramma Somanna said that the programme helps one to imbibe the values propagated by Gandhiji such as truth and non-violence.

Sarvodaya Samiti member K T Baby Mathew, Urban Development Cell project director Gopalakrishna and Fisheries Department senior assistant director Darshan were present among others.
