A 35-year old man died of Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD), also known as Monkey fever at KMC hospital in Manipal on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrappa, a resident of Bannumane village in Aralagodu Gram Panchayat jurisdiction in Sagar taluk. With this, the death toll due to KFD has risen to 11 in the last four months.
