Monkey fever: All you need to about viral fever that killed 2 in Karnataka
Monkey fever is a common term used to refer to Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD), which is a viral haemorrhagic fever caused by the Kyasanur Forest Disease Virus (KFDV). Two people have lost their lives to money fever in Karnataka this year. Usually, it contracts the tick-borne haemorrhagic fever after an incubation period of 3-8 days. Severe muscle pain with vomiting, gastrointestinal and bleeding problems may occur 3-4 days after initial symptoms. Here are some key points to know about the monkey fever.
