'Ministers should resign'

Congress leader Thyagaraj Muddappa has demanded the resignation of ministers Sudhakar facing charges of bank fraud and Somanna, who was defeated in the byelections.

Continuation of Sudhakar in power would open up possibilities of destruction of evidence using his influence and thus affect the course of investigation. The chief minister, should therefore drop Sudhakar from Cabinet. Similarly, Somanna should resign from the ministry owing moral responsibility, he has demanded in a press statement.
