He was speaking at the taluk level officials meeting held at the taluk panchayat office here on Thursday.
The MLA later directed the officials to implement the second phase of desilting the lakes. He also asked the officials concerned to construct a new school building after demolishing the older one. Tahsildar Harishilpa, taluk panchayat CEO Anjappa and taluk-level officials were also present on the occasion.
