<p>The memories of accompanying ‘Narender’ on a bicycle continue to linger in the mind of Vishwanath Suvarna. <br /><br /></p>.<p>As RSS Pracharak, Suvarna along with Narendra Modi - who was then RSS Pramukh in-charge of BJP in Chandigarh, used to campaign for the party in Chandigarh way back in 1992. <br /><br />Vishawanath Suvarna (67), the city based RSS worker, who is now ailing and lives in an apartment in Mangalore, has a lot to share about Narendra Modi with whom he had a close association for nearly eight years. As Modi is all set to take charge as the prime minister of the nation, Suvarna said that he knew that Modi would occupy the highest position in politics one day. <br /><br />“Having lived with him for years, I have seen his capability as an organiser and a leader. I am confident that he has all the capacity to be a world class leader,” Suvarna said.<br /><br />Speaking to Deccan Herald, Suvarna said that Modi stands apart from other politicians because he strongly believes in the politics on the foundation of spiritualism. “Modi was highly spiritual. He used to spend hours performing meditation.<br /><br /> An avid reader, he used to read the books of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. He was greatly inspired by the life and works of social reformer Narayana Guru who had served in Mangalore,” Suvarna said.<br /><br />Going down the memory lane, he said that Modi and he used to discuss and debate on a lot of issues. Modi had a great knowledge of all the subjects, be it history or politics. He never used to bother about worldly pleasures and comforts of life.<br /><br /> His only objective even two decades back was to build a bright India, Suvarna praised Modi, even as he hoped that Modi will take along everyone in his mission to develop India.<br /><br />Modi had met Suvarna in 2008 during his visit to Sullia for an election campaign. In 2010, Suvarna met Modi again at the chief minister’s office in Gujarat.</p>
