<p>Mysuru: Karnataka Chief Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/siddaramaiah">Siddaramaiah</a>, his wife B M Parvathy, brother-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy and J Devaraju, who sold the land, were given clean chit in the Mysuru Urban Urban Development Authority (<a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/muda">MUDA</a>) alternate site allotment case investigated by Lokayukta Police of Mysuru.</p><p>In a notice issued to complainant Snehamayi Krishna on Wednesday, Lokayukta Police in Mysuru revealed that they probed the case and the allegations made against all four accused were not proved due to lack of evidence. </p>.MUDA case: RTI activist says he won't challenge Karnataka HC order in Supreme Court.<p>The Lokayukta would be submitting the final report to the special court in Bengaluru for cases involving elected representatives. Lokayukta also observed that if the complainant has any objection to it, he can challenge it in the magistrate of the Special Court within a week from the date of the notice. </p><p>However, Lokayukta would investigate others in the case related to alternate sites allotted by MUDA in alternative developed area on a 50:50 ratio from 2016 to 2024 and submit an additional final as per column 173 (8) CRPC. </p><p>It may be recalled that Lokayukta Police investigated the case, based on an FIR filed against Siddaramaiah and others, on September 27, 2024. It was converted from agricultural land to non-agriculture land. On October 6, 2010, Mallikarjuna Swamy gifted the land to his sister, Chief Minister's wife B M Parvathi. </p><p>Parvathi submitted representations to MUDA, from 2014, seeking compensation for the said land acquired by MUDA. On December 12, 2021, the then MUDA Commissioner D B Natesh allotted 14 sites on an alternative developed area on a 50:50 ratio. </p><p>In the wake of the developments, Parvathi returned all the sites to MUDA on October 3, 2024.</p>
