MUDA case: RTI activist says he won't challenge Karnataka HC order in Supreme Court

Mysuru: RTI activist Sneyamayi Krishna on Tuesday said he will not file an appeal before the Supreme Court questioning the high court's decision to reject his petition to transfer the probe into the MUDA case to the CBI. He said, he will instead present the evidence before the court to expedite the legal process.

Speaking to media persons, he said, "I won't challenge the high court order in the Supreme Court. There is no need to delay time and the process unnecessarily. I am confident that if I present the evidence with me and the arguments, the accused will be punished. Hence, I have arrived at the decision. I will not stop but continue the legal fight in the MUDA case based on the report submitted by the Lokayukta officers".

The Karnataka High Court earlier had dismissed the petition filed by Snehamayi Krishna, seeking a CBI probe in the alleged MUDA case, involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his wife.
