A day after hitting out at his predecessor Siddaramaiah for obstructing his plans to present a fresh budget, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said that there were no confusions over the budget presentation.

Speaking to reporters before chairing pre-budget meetings here, he said, “There are no confusions pertaining to the budget. I will most certainly present the budget. There are no differences (between the coalition partners).”

While addressing heads of cooperative banks on Monday, Kumaraswamy had expressed his uncertainty over presenting a full-fledged budget, following Siddaramaiah’s disapproval of the same.

He had also said that continuing with the budget tabled by Siddaramaiah in February, would amount to breach of privilege for the newly elected legislators. Kumaraswamy, who is scheduled to present the budget on July 5, held consultations with officials of departments of Commerce and Industries, Small Industries, Health and Family Welfare, Ports and Housing.
