Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has said that he has not taken a decision to act in Tulu movies, yet.
“I have received many offers to act in Tulu films. I will think over it at an appropriate time,” he clarified. The actor was addressing his supporters after inaugurating the GM products’ showroom in town on Friday.
Shetty also said that he would love to work in films made with an intention of raising funds for children’s education and orphanages through movies.
When asked if he would enter politics, the actor replied in the negative. “I do not gel well with politics. One need not join politics to initiate social works. One can take up social work by remaining outside politics as well,” he stressed and added, “We have to set aside a portion of our profits for social work.”
Shetty also said that he had not visited Udupi with an intention of campaigning for a particular party or candidate. “It is, however, our responsibility to exercise our franchise in a democratic setup. I have already made by choice but will not make it public,” he clarified.
To a query on whether he would contribute towards the Army, Shetty said that his priority was helping children and their education. “I have been working towards the education of children for the past 27 years. There is especially a need to promote the education of girl children,” he added.
