Police nab gang of thieves

In a special drive, Mysuru police arrested four inter-district thieves and cracked 17 theft cases reported in different parts of Karnataka.

Those arrested are--Gangadar (28), Ventatesh (34) & Chakravarti (29)-- all belonging to Bengaluru and Santosh (27) --a resident of Jamnagar (Gujarat).

Mysuru police formed a special team to nab this gang and arrested them near Devanahalli main road, Bengaluru, and Mahadeshwar Hills in Chamarajanagar district.

Police said, that the accused were involved in many theft cases in Mysuru city. Following the arrests, theft cases reported in Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Ramanagaram and Kalaburagi were solved. The police recovered a car and a LED TV from the accused.
