Rai to get home portfolio?

Speculation was rife in the political circles on Tuesday that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah may give the home portfolio to B Ramanath Rai, who is now the Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment.

Rai met Siddaramaiah at his official residence ‘Krishna’ on Tuesday evening and held discussion on the possible change of portfolio. The home portfolio is currently with the chief minister. However, there was no confirmation from the chief minister's office in this regard.
