Rs 1 cr sought for Kalasa GP building

He visited Sri Kalaseshwara Swamy Temple. Speaking on the occasion, Temple Managing Committee former president Venkatasubbaiah said Deputy Commissioner has recommended to pay Rs 50 lakh annually to Kalaseshwara Temple. The early release of the money will help in the development of the temple.

A memorandum on the problems on the hobli was submitted to the Minister when he visited BJP office. The memorandum said that forest department is coming in the way of distribution of land to the poor. It also urged the government to release Rs 1 crore for the construction of Kalasa Gram Panchayat building.

The public also urged the minister to release funds for the repair of Hirebailu-Kottigehara road and Balehole-Basarikatte road. A hanging bridge must be constructed to provide connectivity to the notified areas in Kudremukh. Tourism should be promoted in Kudremukh.
Speaking after receiving memorandum, Suresh Kumar said that the decisions will be taken after staying in Kudremukh and studying the problems.
