State support sought for rail coach factory

Kolar MP and Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises K H Muniyappa on Monday urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to provide uninterrupted water to Kolar district from  the proposed Yettinahole project.

It is said that Siddaramaiah had a lengthy meeting with Muniyappa in this regard.

 It is learnt that Muniyappa also sought the state government’s support for starting a rail coach factory in Kolar as mentioned in the previous railway budget.

He appealed to the chief minister to provide 1,200 acre of land and 50 per cent of the investment for the rail coach factory.
