State-wide BJP protests mark HDK's swearing-in day

BJP workers all over the state staged protests against the 'unholy' alliance between the JD(S) and Congress that has led to the formation of the government by the bipartite combine, on Wednesday.

The protestors in Bengaluru tied black arm bands and shouted slogans against Kumaraswamy and the Congress leaders in front of the Gandhi statue. Among the leaders who joined in protest were, B S Yeddyurappa, Shobha Karandlaje, R Ashoka and Ravi Kumar.

Kalaburagi

Protesting against the Congress-JD(S) combine which has set out to form a government 'without the mandate of the people', BJP workers gathered at the Sardar Vallabhai Patel circle in Kalaburagi on Wednesday. MLA B G Patil led the protest. The protesters were arrested by the police.

Sirsi

Protesting the JD(S)-Congress' 'unholy' alliance, BJP workers in Sirsi observed a 'black day'. They gathered at the old bus stand and sported black arm bands and shouted slogans to protest the formation of the government by the coalition. The protest was led by MLA Vishweshwara Hegde.
