Teacher suffers fatal heart attack in classroom at Karnataka's Koppal

Hanumasagar (Koppal district): A 59-year-old teacher at the Karnataka Public School in Hanumasagar village in Kushtagi taluk died after suffering a heart attack while in the middle of a lesson on Wednesday. 

Mehboobsab Kasab reportedly collapsed in the classroom while teaching. Although his colleagues rushed him to a nearby hospital, he was declared ‘dead on arrival’. Survived by his wife and two sons, Mehboobsab Kasab was slated to retire from service on May 31, 2026.
