Transfer of IPS officers

In a major reshuffle, the state government has transferred 31 IPS officers - 17 of them shifted to Bengaluru and 14 of them were shifted out of the city.

B Dayananda, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Central Range, Bengaluru has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as the IGP, lntelligence, Bengaluru in the downgraded post of ADGP Intelligence. Amar Kumar Pandey has been transferred as the ADGP, Karnataka State Human Rights Commission.

K V Sharath Chandra, IGP, Southern Range, Mysuru, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Central Range.

lsha Pant, SP and Director, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Bengaluru, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South East Division, Bengaluru. Dr M B Boralingaiah,
DCP, South-East Division, has been transferred as SP, Intelligence (Administration), Bengaluru.

Dr Chetan Singh Rathor has been transferred as FSL Director. N Shashi Kumar, Kalaburagi SP, has been transferred as DCP, North Division, Bengaluru City.

H S Revanna, IGP, Northern Range, Belagavi is transferred as IGP, Prisons, Bengaluru in the upgraded post. Dr P S Harsha, DIG, Prisons, Bengaluru has been transferred as Director, Security & Vigilance, KSRTC. Abhinav Khare, Shivamogga SP, has been transferred as Commandant, Home Guards, Bengaluru.

Karthik Reddy, Chikkaballapura SP, has been transferred as Assistant Inspector General of Police, Crime, Nrupatunga Road, Bengaluru.

Dharmender Kumar Meena, Chamarajnagar SP, is transferred as SP, CID, Bengaluru. Laxman Nimbargi, Udupi SP, is posted as SP, Wireless, Bengaluru. Dr A Subramanyeswara Rao, is posted as Deputy IGP, Intelligence, Bengaluru.

T R Suresh, DIG & Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City, is transferred as DIG and Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Units, Bengaluru. N Vishnuvardhana, DCP, Law & Order, Mysuru City, is transferred as DCP (lntelligence), Bengaluru.

The orders and postings (on promotion) of P Rajendra Prasad, as DIGP & Commissioner of Police, Belagavi City stands cancelled and the officer has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Recruitment, Bengaluru.

Several officers were posted out of Bengaluru. Their new postings: Amrit Paul, IGP, Eastern Range, Davanagere; Vipul Kumar, IGP, Southern Range, Mysuru (with concurrent charge of IGP & Director, Karnataka Police Academy); M Nanjundaswami, IGP, Ballari Range; Raghavendra Suhasaa, IGP, Northern Range, Belagavi; Sandeep Patil, DIG & Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City in the downgraded post by keeping the cadre post of IGP & Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City.

The orders and postings (on promotion) of B S Lokesh Kumar, as DIGP & Commissioner of Police, Hubballi-Dharwad, stands cancelled and the officer has been posted as DIGP & Commissioner of Police, Belagavi vice Dr D C Rajappa.
