Two arrested for smuggling liquor

Officers of the Excise enforcement and Lottery Prohibition wing arrested Ramesh (33) of Muttugadahalli and Anjinappa (45) and confiscated liquor valued more than Rs one lakh.
According to Inspector Nanjappa, the liquor was smuggled for the election purpose. The political party involved in the process is yet to be identified, he added.

Staff Kalilsab, Rizwan Ulla, Ramakrishna, Subhash, Bettappa, Anil, Murali, Krishnappa and Prasad were part of the team.
