<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Close on the heels of a woman IT professional losing her four fingers and five toes following a cosmetic surgery in Thiruvananthapuram, a 49-year old man suffered life threatening bacterial infection allegedly following a hair transplant procedure in Kochi.</p><p>Kochi native Sanil who had undergone hair transplant surgery at a private clinic in the city in February suffered the ordeal. The local police have now registered a case of suspected medical negligence against the clinic on the basis of Sanil's complaint. The doctor who performed the transplant is absconding, said the police.</p><p>As per the complaint, a few days after the transplant Sanil suffered discomfort and severe pain on his head. The doctor who performed the procedure prescribed some pain killers to him. As the condition persisted, Sanil approached a private hospital where he was diagnosed to be suffering from serious bacterial infection.
