40 kg silver, bundles of notes recovered from former Transport Department constable's house in Bhopal

Bundles of notes and 40 kg of silver and were recovered from the house of a former constable of the Transport Department during a Lokayukta Raid, on Friday, in Bhopal, ANI quoted Lokayukta as saying.

This comes just a day after the Lokayukta Police on Thursday recovered assets of more than Rs 3 crore including Rs 2.85 crore in cash from the residences of a former constable with the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department, PTI reported.

Besides cash, gold worth Rs 50 lakh and some silver were also seized. Documents related to properties were also found and were being scrutinised, the DSP added.
