<p>Mumbai: In a major swoop against <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/human-trafficking">human trafficking</a>, the elite Crime Branch-CID has arrested a 34-year-old man, masquerading as a professor from Haryana, for allegedly attempting to send four men and three minor girls from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai to the United Kingdom on Monday.</p><p>The investigation is expected to throw light on the larger racket being operated by the group.</p><p>The suspect, placed under arrest by the Sahar police station, was identified as Virender Premchand.</p><p>The victims have been sent back to their respective homes in Haryana and Punjab.</p><p>The victims were posing as students participating in an exchange programme, an official said, adding that the crime branch has taken over the probe.</p>.Trafficking racket busted in Bihar, 45 minors rescued.<p>The group led by Premchand were travelling to London via Jeddah - and were caught by the Bureau of Immigration, which initially found that two of them were travelling to London on visit visas.</p><p>The two students said that they are from Om Sterling Global University in Hisar and are accompanied by their professor. However, they were unable to provide details about the varsity they were heading to.</p><p>Premchand had told the police that he met the travellers and an agent, identified as Bittu, at a hotel in Delhi and was taking them to London on his instructions.</p>
